About Your Role

As a Group Compliance Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring Addiko Bank’s adherence to EBA Guidelines, internal governance standards, and all relevant regulations.

  • You manage key compliance topics, fulfilling roles under Section 21 of the EBA Guidelines and other applicable standards
  • You develop and implement the Compliance Risk Strategy, Group-wide policies, harmonized procedures, and controls to address risks effectively
  • You oversee and contribute to Regulatory Compliance, Capital Market Compliance, Director’s Dealings, Trading Bans, Conflicts of Interest and Whistleblowing
  • You drive innovation in compliance processes by digitalizing and streamlining workflows, ensuring efficiency and adaptability
  • You advise management by providing actionable solutions to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, addressing audit findings, and mitigating potential violations
  • You monitor and oversee compliance practices across the Addiko Bank Group, ensuring full understanding and implementation
  • You serve as the trusted go-to person for all compliance-related matters, acting impartially and with integrity

Is This You?

  • You possess a law degree (preferred but not mandatory with extensive work experience in the compliance area)
  • You bring several years of experience in Legal and/or Compliance roles within banking or financial institutions, with at least three years in a similar compliance role
  • You have proven expertise and certifications in Compliance, which will set you apart
  • You demonstrate a strong understanding of European laws and legislation, preferably including Austrian law
  • You are fluent in English, with additional knowledge of German or a CSEE language considered an advantage
  • You are proficient in MS Office 365 tools and other compliance-related software
  • You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance at all levels
  • You are a committed team player with a proactive mindset, strong service orientation, and an unwavering focus on accuracy
